About the Role: Are you an experienced MES Solution Architect ready for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to lead and shape innovative MES solutions for a prominent client in the private sector. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to groundbreaking projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse business stakeholder requirements and translate them into functional and technical designs.
- Define system architecture, data models, workflows, interfaces, and integration points.
- Design end-to-end MES solutions based on client requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
- Lead the development of MES software components, including configuration, customization, and integration with enterprise systems like ERP and PLM.
- Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to integrate MES solutions with existing systems and factory floor equipment using standard protocols such as OPC, MQTT, or RESTful APIs.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural principles, and performance optimization techniques.
- Create technical documentation, including system configurations, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in MES solutions.
Profile Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in MES solution architecture, design, implementation, and roll-outs.
- Proficiency in MES systems/software platforms and a good understanding of IT/OT infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, Industry 4.0 concepts, and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., FDA, ISO).
- Certifications in MES solutions (e.g., ISA-95, CPIM) are desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience with MES system TrakSYS is a plus.
- Good understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is required. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
