Recann is partnering with a German technology consultancy delivering into a major utilities client. We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Consultant to contribute to a technically complex and business-critical SAP Utilities landscape.
This assignment is suited to consultants who are comfortable operating in mature SAP environments, taking ownership of defined solution areas and delivering tangible system improvements rather than simply providing ticket-based support.
Scope of Work
- Drive targeted enhancements across SAP IS-U modules within a live utilities environment
• Contribute expertise within EDM, Billing, or ABAP-based IS-U development
• Work closely with functional and business stakeholders to design high-quality, scalable solutions
• Support integration, testing and deployment across structured project phases
What Will Set You Apart
- Deep utilities domain knowledge combined with strong IS-U configuration or development capability
- Experience working in complex, multi-stream SAP programmes
- Ability to operate independently while integrating into distributed delivery teams
- Clear, structured communication style in German
Required Experience
- Proven SAP IS-U consulting or development experience within utilities
- Strong hands-on expertise in at least one of:
– IS-U EDM
– IS-U Billing & Invoicing
– ABAP / ABAP OO within IS-U - Fluent German (C1+)
Preference for consultants with immediate availability or short notice.
Freelancers must be based in the EU and able to invoice via an EU VAT-compliant entity. Rate is dependent on experience, specialism and capacity commitment.
